Southwest Waterfront
The Southwest Waterfront is a working marina with fishing boats docked the length of the Washington Channel. Vendors sell fresh crabs and fish are set up in stalls up and down the promenade. This is where local Washingtonians and restaurateurs come to buy fresh seafood.
The neighborhood is also home to many DC residents and has lots of beautiful green space. Southwest DC has its own Metro station for easy transportation to other areas of the city.
